CALL FOR PAPERS
“Coming to See or Hear in New Ways”:  Aesthetics, Creativity, Genius

For over five decades, REALIA has devoted itself to engaging the human future through
philosophical reflection. Our 2011 conference invites submissions taking metaphysical,
epistemological and especially valuational perspectives on the above theme. Some related
topics:













Other creative approaches to the conference theme are welcome.










Send 100-200 word abstracts to the e-mail address below for consideration by April 1,
2011
. In the body of the e-mail, include author(s)’s name, affiliation, mailing address, and
paper title. Notification of acceptance will be sent via e-mail. Completed papers as MS Word
documents attached to an e-mail are due by
July 1, 2011. Presentations will be limited to
thirty minutes, allowing another twenty minutes for discussion, so papers should be twelve to
fourteen pages in length. Papers selected for presentation may be submitted later to the
Editorial Board for consideration for publication in upcoming issues of Contemporary
